About Oakland Medical Center
Dr. Jay Sandberg opened Oakland Medical Center in Clawson, Michigan in 1991. In 1998, the practice moved to its current location at 115 East Long Lake Road in Troy, Michigan.
The practice specializes in Internal Medicine with four primary care physicians and one physician assistant. As a Patient Centered Medical Home, we provide Internal Medicine services for patients from high-school student age to adults aged 60 plus.
Our in-house lab and testing facility has a comprehensive suite of in-house testing capabilities, with most having same-day results.
Since 2005, our Oakland Medical Research subsidiary has provided access to research studies for patients with specific health care concerns. We not only provide access to new medication, but also may compensate patients for their time spent to travel to us and be included in the research trials.
